To increase its social, environmental and economic impact, sc brupower is seeking to hire a first person to form its team responsible for developing renewable energy projects in the Brussels Region. The cooperative therefore recruits:
A project coordinator
brupower, created in May 2022, is the first citizen energy cooperative in Brussels aligned with the values of rescoop.eu and the cooperative principles (ICA). brupower really aims for citizens to be active stakeholders in the transition. To reach these goals, the cooperative aims to achieve three main missions:
Production - Development of renewable energy production projects
Raising awareness and empowerment - Support initiatives for citizens to be actors of the energy transition in Brussels.
Supply - Implementation of energy sharing projects before starting supply activities in the Brussels Region
brupower is now composed of more than 40 volunteers who brings their skills, time and energy to the project.
Participative democracy, care, societal impact are at the core of our dynamic, of our statutes and of our organization.
Your main activities
You work in collaboration with the existing working groups
You contribute to the representation of brupower at external events
You support citizen participation within the cooperative
You communicate and animate social networks
You help in the search for public and private funding
You take charge of the administrative follow-up of your projects within the cooperative
Your profile
You have experience in coordinating several projects in parallel, particularly on the administrative and financial aspects
You have excellent organisational skills and eye for detail
You have strong communication skills, whether within a team or with large audiences (knowledge of French and Dutch is essential, basic knowledge of English)
You have acquired skills in project management, time management and you are at ease with digital tools
You can adjust to complex situations and you are stress-resistant
You are creative, entrepreneurial minded and resourceful with problem solving
Without being a specialist, you have knowledge of the energy sector
You are familiar with participatory governance and, ideally, you have a first experience in this area
