brupower

Renewable energy as a common good,
managed democratically and in harmony with our environment.

What is brupower?

brupower is an energy cooperative active in Brussels, which brings together citizens to invest together in renewable energies: all members are co-owners of production facilities.

Together, we are regaining control of our energy supplies, reducing our dependence on energy imports and large trading companies. brupower is convinced that the transition must be carried out in a fair, social and democratic way, with all the people of Brussels.

How do we work?

brupower wants to enable all Brussels citizens to have a voice and to reclaim energy.

Depending on your time and interests, you can get involved in 1000 different ways!

Become a brupower ambassador or take part in one of our working groups as a volunteer!

There are 7 operational work groups

These work groups (WGs) meet independently on a frequent basis (e.g. once a month).

The various WGs meet 3-4 times a year at the Inter-WGs to keep each other informed of the work done.

All volunteers are welcome at the InterWG!

Join one of the working groups

brupower is looking for citizens to develop the cooperative.
