A project with impact

The project to install solar panels on the roof of the Huis van Vrede association, located in central Brussels, is part of an initiative that is both social and sustainable.

Active in providing individual support, the association works to offer comprehensive assistance to its beneficiaries. The installation of a 6.37 kWp system reduces the building’s energy footprint while actively participating in energy sharing since April 1, 2026. This project illustrates Huis van Vrede’s commitment to combining social engagement with the energy transition, by putting renewable energy at the service of a model based on solidarity and inclusion.
