A project with impact

Inaugurated in the spring of 2024, the Doucheflux project was a milestone for brupower as our very first energy-producing site. The 21 kilowatt peak rooftop solar installation provides clean electricity to Doucheflux, an Anderlecht-based association that supports homeless people with services from social care and legal support to warm showers and washing machines. As showers and laundry require a lot of energy, the project will allow Doucheflux to continue its work with the help of locally produced electricity to a stable and predictable price.

brupower is happy to collaborate with DoucheFlux in this project that contributes to both social inclusion and the energy transition. We expect CO2 savings of approximately 115 tonnes during 20 years, or the same as driving 800,000 kilometres in the average car.
