A project with impact

This project is being realised in partnership with the municipality of Saint-Gilles and Enebra energy community. Since 2025, four municipal buildings in Saint-Gilles, including maison de la prévention, maison des cultures, sports centres at Rue de Russie were fitted with 550 solar panels with a total peak capacity of 150 kilowatt.

Local residents have the opportunity to participate in the energy community and benefit from the electricity produced by the solar panels. This allow also people who are renting or cannot install solar panels on their own roofs to take part in the local energy revolution.

 At least 920 tonnes of CO2 – or the same as 6.5 million kilometres driven by car – will be saved during 20 years thanks to this project.
